U’S FUME AT SHRIMPERS’ CALL-OFF DECISION

FRUSTRATED Cambridge United have hit out at the late postponement of yesterday’s scheduled League Two game against Southend United.
Southend asked for the game to be called off on Friday evening because they had been hit by coronavirus cases and a glut of injuries.
But the U’s felt it wasn’t necessary to postpone the match.
