ROY McDONOUGH missed out when Southend United bounced straight back by claiming promotion from Division Four – after picking up one of his 22 career red cards!
He was forced to sit in the stands at London Road as two goals from David Crown saw off Peterborough United 2-1 to win back their Division Three spot 12 months after being relegated.
