CARLISLE boss Chris Beech believes his history of working on tight budgets has helped him assemble a squad that can continue to challenge towards the top of the League Two table.
The 46-year-old took on the top job at Brunton Park last November after 17 years at Rochdale, first as a player and then in a variety of coaching roles, including as assistant to Keith Hill.
