AARON Hayden was the hero at both ends of the pitch as Carlisle United made it three wins in a row.
Colchester United pegged them back to 2-2 with Carlisle having led 2-0, but vice-captain Hayden scored a winner inside the final ten minutes and then made a crucial tackle in the dying seconds.
