WHEN Burnley were relegated in 2015 after a single season in the Premier League, nobody at Turf Moor panicked. The Clarets stuck with Sean Dyche, kept the bulk of their squad, recruited shrewdly and went straight back up. They’ve been there ever since.
I see a lot of parallels with Norwich City, especially in the prudent way they approached the Premier League last summer. Like Burnley, they didn’t spend big in an attempt to stay up. In fact, Norwich spent less than £8m in transfer fees last season.
