A HONG KONG-based Chinese group have revived their interest in a Sunderland takeover.
The consortium, who were eyeing fellow League One club Ipswich, have switched their attention back to Sunderland after an initial approach was rejected.
Black Cats owner-chairman Stewart Donald put the club on the market at the turn of the year after fans’ groups called for him to sell up.
