Fountain of youth helps Clarke beat the Ammies

WALSALL boss Darrell Clarke feels his side are slowly getting back to the “Walsall way” after a youthful looking squad beat Salford.
Caolan Lavery put the Saddlers ahead before Josh Gordon extended their lead after half-time as Walsall leapfrogged their hosts in the League Two table.
Liam Roberts’ late heroics kept Salford from finding an equaliser after Brandon Thomas-Asante had pulled a goal back for the Ammies.
And with seven of the matchday 18 being products of the Banks’s Stadium youth set-up, Saddlers boss Clarke was a happy man.
