Football world mourns loss of Jim Smith

LEADING football fi gures have paid tribute to Jim Smith, the man affectionately known throughout the game as ‘the Bald Eagle’.
Smith died at the age of 79 on Tuesday, but will be fondly remembered at a host of clubs following more than half a century of service to the game as a player and manager.
