LAST Friday, Oldham Athletic owner Abdallah Lemsagam issued a statement backing Laurent Banide to continue as the club’s manager.
On Wednesday, Lemsagam sanctioned the loan of fan-favourite
Gevaro Nepomuceno to Chesterfield on account of a disagreement with Banide.
Then, just 24 hours later, that very same owner sacked Banide and immediately appointed Dino Maamria, who had been f red by Stevenage earlier this month.
For Oldham, sadly, it is practically a typical week. Since taking over in January 2018, Lem- sagam has run the club with all the professionalism of a circus clown.
