Cowleys prove there is a pathway
DANNY Cowley’s appointment as Huddersfield boss this week, working alongside his brother Nicky, is a positive sign for all ambitious English managers out there.
After all, Danny started out as jointmanager of Essex Senior League outfit Concord Rangers back in 2007. In partnership with Danny Scopes, they led the Beach Boys to the title that season.
So far, Danny has notched up five promotions as manager – three with Concord and two with Lincoln, who will be devastated to lose him. He has climbed from English football’s ninth tier to the seco...
