WAS I taken aback when the Cowley brothers left Lincoln for Huddersfield this week? In a word, yes.
They did wonderfully well at Lincoln and, in their hearts, every Imps fans would wish them well and have expected it to happen at some stage.
But Huddersfield? I’m not so sure about that. They might be playing in a lower division than Lincoln next season.
I’m a bit surprised they didn’t sit tight and wait for a better option, but I don’t know the discussions, the promises made.
