‘PATIENT’ SAM GETS REWARDED

MK Dons boss Paul Tisdale believes forward Sam Nombe is a fine example of young players being patient.
Nombe, 20, helped set up a third-round Carabao Cup tie with Liverpool after scoring his first senior goal against Southend.
Tisdale said: “I’ve had a lot of experience in developing young players and, a lot of the time, it is not until the third or fourth year when they suddenly arise. Sam still has a lot to do but he’s patient.”
