Seasons of hope and optimism
Says…
There’s nothing quite as magical for a football fan as the dawn of a new season. Hope truly springs eternal. There’s the freshness of the grass, the crispness of the kit, the fitness of the team all lean and hungry, ready to run their hearts out for the cause.
Maybe by week two and three it will be less joyous for some but, hey ho, let’s really buy into the optimism of this opening weekend.
