BOWEN TO AID ROYAL AMBITIONS

CHAMPIONSHIP
FORMER Wales full-back Mark Bowen has joined Reading’s staff as a technical consultant until the end of the season.
Bowen, who finished his playing career at the Madejski Stadium in December 1999, has been brought in to help manager Jose Gomes with opposition analysis.
Neath-born Bowen, 55, played for clubs including Tottenham, Norwich, West Ham and Charlton, making more than 500 club appearances and being capped 41 times.
Bowen has been a coach at Crystal Palace, Birmingham, Blackburn, Manchester City, Fulham, QPR, Stoke, Southampton and with Wales.
