BLACKPOOL midfielder Jay Spearing has spoken of his admiration for his former boss Gary Bowyer.
Bowyer, now in charge of Bradford, signed Spearing, 30, while Blackpool manager.
And with Bradford playing Blackpool yesterday, Spearing talked up Bowyer ahead of their reunion. He said: “He’s a great guy on and off the field and I owe him a lot.
“He helped me massively through getting me back into the game and bringing me in.”
