VALE FANS STEP UP BID FOR CHANGE

FED-UP Port Vale fans held protests against owner Norman Smurthwaite ahead of yesterday’s game against Forest Green.
Supporters have become increasingly unhappy with Smurthwaite following the club’s struggles in League Two and a perceived lack of investment.
They held a red card protest at the home game against Mansfield a couple of weeks ago and are keen to keep applying the pressure in the hope that the unpopular owner will sell up.
