ECSTATIC striker Padraig Amond has hailed the impact of the FA Cup after earning a shock Republic of Ireland call-up at the age of 30.
The Newport County ace was named in the provisional squad for Euro 2020 qualifying games with Gibraltar and Georgia later this month, the first games of Mick McCarthy’s second spell in charge.
