ALEX Neil described his Preston North End players as “brilliant” after their deserved victory at Stoke City.
Alan Browne opened the scoring after 20 minutes with his 10th goal of the campaign after Darnell Fisher’s shot had been saved.
Declan Rudd saved superbly to keep out Sam Clucas after 52 minutes, before Joe Allen had a shot cleared off the line a minute later.
