LAMBERT SHELLS OUT TO PAY FOR THE FANS

GENEROUS Ipswich boss Paul Lambert paid for fans’ travel to the game at Blackburn yesterday – and has promised to stick around even if the Tractor Boys are relegated.
The former Norwich and Aston Villa manager, who took the reins in October following the sacking of Paul Hurst, pledged to pay for about 50 fans to travel by the club’s official coach to Ewood Park.
An individual letter for each fan on board was left on seats offering to reimburse the £37 costs and thanking them for their continued support.
