PERCH IS THE TOPS, SAYS DAWS

SCUNTHORPE boss Nick Daws has praised James Perch’s professionalism after snapping up the former QPR midfielder on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old, who has played 476 first-team matches, has joined the League One side on a twoyear deal.
Daws, who also signed George Thomas and Matty Lund on Friday, said: “What we’re getting with James is a really experienced player, and a top professional.”
