I WAS back at my old club Swindon Town last week to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of their 1993 promotion to the Premier League. It was a night of nostalgia, a chance for supporters and players to relive the famous 4-3 playoff final victory over Leicester City.
Listening to the likes of Glenn Hoddle, Paul Bodin and Shaun Taylor was very inspiring and left me wondering if managers are missing a trick by not educating current players enough about their clubs’ former glories.
