COVENTRY striker Jordan Ponticelli hopes the floodgates have opened now that he’s off the mark.
The teenager claimed his first senior goal with a confident backheel finish against Notts County this month and followed up that breakthrough moment with two against Crawley just over a week ago.
“When I got that first league goal, it was a massive weight off my shoulders and I think that helped me get the goals against Crawley,” said the 19-year-old, who cites Coventry top-scorer Marc McNulty as an example to follow.
