Return of the Dons is reward for all

RIDAY was a momentous day for everyone who has been involved with AFC Wimbledon over the past 16 years.
Ever since the fan-owned club formed in the aftermath of the original Wimbledon’s controversial switch to Milton Keynes have been in existence, they have dreamt of returning to the borough of Merton.
And for all the success they’ve had on the field over the last 16 years – including an astonishing six promotions – that hankering to return home has never left them.
That the opportunity should eventually arise back at their spirit...
