LEE Johnson admitted he’d gladly swap Bristol City’s Carabao Cup run for extra freshness as his side slipped further outside the coveted play-off places.
The Robins were well matched by a spirited Burton in a game of very few real chances on a poor pitch.
City enjoyed a remarkable double escape in the 41st minute when both Hope Akpan and Liam Boyce were left cursing their luck before improving to edge the second period.
