CLUBS SAD OVER LIAM

SUNDERLAND, Leeds and QPR have paid their respects to former midfielder Liam Miller after his death at the age of 36.
The former Republic of Ireland man had been suffering from cancer.
Sunderland, whose players wore black armbands at Bristol City yesterday, said:
“We are tremendously saddened at the loss of a player at so young an age and our thoughts are with his friends and family.”
Leeds and QPR both echoed those sentiments.
