‘SNUB’ TO MK PUTS AFC IN THE DOCK

AFC Wimbledon have been charged with breaching EFL regulations after a failure to use MK Dons’ full name during the game between the sides earlier this season.
Wimbledon called the visitors ‘Milton Keynes’ or ‘MK’ and did not mention them on the programme cover for the September encounter.
The London side had done the same in the clubs’ first-ever league meeting in March and the EFL had sought assurances that MK Dons would be “treated in a consistent and appropriate manner”.
