Lovell left longing for video replays

GILLINGHAM boss Steve Lovell issued a plea to football authorities to introduce goal-line technology in the lower leagues after his side were denied.
The visitors were left baffled after Tom Eaves’ 14th-minute strike was not ruled a goal, despite appearing to cross the line.
The escape spurred Plymouth on and they took the lead thanks to Joel Grant’s second goal of the season.
