PEKALSKI TO GIVE U’S A LIFT

LEAGUE ONE
OXFORD will be boosted by the return of midfielder Ivo Pekalski from injury in the New Year, according to boss Pep Clotet.
The Swedish international, 27, has been out with a knee injury sustained in the summer and is yet to make his competitive debut.
“I am very confident in his recovery because he has had injuries in the past and that makes a difference in terms of the mental side of things,” said Clotet.
“He knows how to deal with things. He is an excellent professional and it will be good to have him available again soon.”
