SKIPPER Jimmy Smith has led the tributes to former Crawley Town manager Dermot Drummy who has died at the age of 56.
Smith, who had known him for more than ten years, said: “Dermot was not only a great coach but also a great man.
“I first got to know him during my time at Chelsea and when he came to Crawley and gave me the captain’s armband it was one of the proudest moments of my career.
“He was a great person to know and the lads who worked with him are going to miss him. Our thoughts go out to his family.”
