REECE HIT BY LEG FRACTURE

MORECAMBE forward Reece Deakin has been ruled out for six weeks with a hairline fracture to his left leg.
The 20-year-old, a summer signing from Welsh side Airbus UK Broughton, was injured in a reserve team fixture against Fleetwood last month and an MRI scan has now revealed the extent of the damage.
“I’ve never really broken a bone, so it was difficult to tell how bad it was until the MRI,” said Deakin.
“I’m hoping to use this period to my advantage by spending some more time in the gym, which I needed to do anyway.”
