CARETAKER boss Steve Lovell firmly believes he is the right man for the Gillingham hotseat on a permanent basis.
The 57-year-old has been in temporary charge of the Gills since the departure this month of director of football Peter Taylor, who had been interim boss following Ady Pennock’s September dismissal.
Lovell’s short tenure has already heralded victory over Peterborough last weekend and a creditable midweek draw against Wigan.
