The Football League Paper says…

Loan deals compromise is wise move
SO, IT seems more than likely the EFL will fall in line with the Premier League and close the transfer window next summer before the season has started.
However, the fact the EFL have suggested the loan window for their clubs should remain open for the rest of August shows the League aren’t just following their big brother blindly.
The EFL no doubt canvassed opinions ahead of the clubs’ meeting on Thursday and realised that their 72 members still wanted to have some flexibility to make signings.
