KEVIN Davies has revealed that he is keen to return to his boyhood club Chesterfield now that he has called time on his playing career.
The former England striker, 40, retired two years ago after two seasons at Preston but is best remembered for his tenyear spell at Bolton.
However it was at Chesterfield that he first rose to prominence, with his part in their shock run to the FA Cup semi-final back in 1997 earning him a move to the Premier League and Southampton.
