GLT GETS AN EARLY RUN-OUT IN SEMIS

THE EFL have confirmed that Goal-line Technology (GLT) is to be used at this season’s Sky Bet Championship play-off semi-finals, after proposals for its use next season in the Championship were confirmed at an EGM earlier this month.
Originally scheduled for ratification at June’s AGM, proposals were brought forward to provide sufficient time to install the required technical infrastructure, ahead of the start of the next league campaign.
