Salford head coach Karl Robinson heaped praise on his players, despite accepting that goalless draws don’t have the “glitz and glamour” to put bums on seats.
The promotion-chasing Ammies were unable to find a way past their mid-table opponents in what was an even draw.
And despite there being no goals, Robinson was quick to big-up the effort of his team.
“Although there were no goals, it was an excellent game and I thought we were very good,” he said.
