Ross Embleton insists it is business as usual at Colchester following the shock departure of manager Matt Bloomfield.
Bloomfield, 39, only took charge in September but has now agreed to succeed Gareth Ainsworth at Wycombe (see story here).
Colchester will now undertake a “thorough” recruitment process to find Bloomfield’s replacement, with current head of recruitment and former Leyton Orient boss Embleton holding the fort in the meantime.
