Evans backs his Pirates to carry on plundering

STEVE Evans saw Bristol Rovers claim their sixth home win on the trot and dedicated the victory to his chairman and the club’s long-suffering fans.
The Pirates manager took to the pitch alongside chairman Hussain Al-Saeed minutes before the game to announce his new contract, and afterwards spoke of his pride in the subsequent team performance.
Goals from Ellis Harrison, Mees Rijks and Yusuf Akhamrich secured the victory, with Louie Watson on target for the visitors.
