MICKY Mellon lauded a “terrific start to the weekend” after his Oldham side maintained their play-off hopes with victory at Colchester.
Latics defender Donervon Daniels’ early goal was cancelled out by Kyreece Lisbie, but late strikes from Kane Taylor and Kane Drummond swept Athletic to a vital victory ahead of a visit from MK Dons on Easter Monday.
