COLCHESTER boss Danny Cowley felt his staff’s homework paid off big time after his U’s completely outplayed Walsall in a win that knocked the Saddlers off the top of League Two.
Both goals came in a one-sided first half as close-range strikes from Samson Tovide and Kyreece Lisbie rewarded enterprising attacking play from the visitors.
