HE may have struggled for goals this season but Tranmere boss Andy Crosby always knew Connor Jennings would come good.
Without a goal since August, the captain put in a stunning display as he bagged two and set up another in the thrashing of hosts Bristol Rovers.
Jennings led by example in a match that ended Rovers’ seven-match winless streak, while The Gas were booed off at full-time, leaving boss Darrell Clarke to apologise for the poor display.
