DANNY Webb has thanked Chesterfield boss Paul Cook for his support and blessing ahead of taking the Yeovil Town manager’s job.
The 42-year-old had been a key part of the Spireites staff as Cook’s assistant as they turned the club from one treading water in the National League to a League Two promotion favourite.
But Webb was handed the opportunity to become a No.1 at the National League Glovers just over a week ago – and he admits it had to be something special to leave Cook’s staff.
