GRAHAM Alexander said a below-par first half cost his Bradford City side any chance of success after they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Fleetwood Town.
Ronan Coughlan’s early penalty proved decisive for the Cod Army, the leading scorer calmly converting from the spot in the eighth minute after Andy Cook’s clumsy challenge brought down Matty Virtue in the box.
“It was almost like a repeat of some of the away games where we don’t compete at the right level,” said Alexander after the game.
