Joe Murphy has expressed his delight at signing a new one-year contract as both a player and goalkeeping coach at Tranmere – at the ripe old age of 42.
The former Scunthorpe and Coventry keeper has made 45 appearances since his return to Rovers in 2020, including six this season, and also helped hone the skills of first-choice Luke McGee this term.
