Match Preview: Sutton United v Stockport County (Saturday, 2pm)

United host in Saturday’s match at the VBS Community Stadium looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in .

The Us, who sit 22nd in the league after 42 games, fell to a 1-3 home defeat to Town on Monday.

They face a Stockport side who picked up a win in their last match, a 1-0 victory against AFC , and who sit first in the table.

With 79 goals in 40 games so far this season, Stockport are the league’s joint-second-highest scorers with 2.0 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 40 goals at a rate of 1.0 per game.

Sutton, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.2 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.5. They have conceded 1.7 goals per game.
