JACK Nolan has pleaded with frustrated supporters to lay off Accrington’s players amid a recent slump in form.
The Lancastrians ended a run of four straight defeats in League Two with a 2-1 victory at Swindon on Tuesday night.
Long-serving manager John Coleman and assistant Jimmy Bell were dismissed following a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Wrexham a fortnight ago, and a 3-0 home reverse at home to Bradford in the subsequent fixture saw fans turn on their team.
