Match Preview: Gillingham v Wrexham (Saturday, 3pm)

Wrexham face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form away against a tight defence on Saturday.

With 59 goals in 32 games, Wrexham are the joint-fourth-highest scorers in ahead of the 3pm kick-off at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

They face a side who have scored 31 in 33 matches, but conceded only 39 goals, putting them joint-fourth among the league's tightest defences – only , Town and AFC have conceded fewer goals.

Wrexham are third in the table after 32 games, of which they have won 17 and drawn eight, earning 59 points.

Gillingham are five places behind the Dragons in eighth, with 14 wins and six draws putting them on 48 points.

In Jake Turner, the Gills can rely on one of the league's safest pair of hands. He has kept 11 clean sheets in his 33 appearances this season, and only one other ‘keeper – 's Christy Pym – has been able to prevent the opposition scoring on more occasions in League Two.

In the away side's net, Arthur Okonkwo has nine clean sheets in 22 games.

The hosts are in disappointing form in League Two, with one win and three draws from their last six games.

With two wins and a draw over that period, Wrexham's form is slightly better – they have taken seven points from 18, compared to Gillingham's six.

Gillingham's last match was on Tuesday, a 0-0 draw against Stockport County.
