Harrogate Town have come a long way since Simon Weaver became player-manager in 2009, but he doesn’t want League Two to be the club’s final destination.
The longest-serving manager in the top four divisions is relishing putting the Sulphurites in the play-off fight this term after three seasons of consolidation in the Football League. Finishes of 17th and 19th, the latter twice, helped the Yorkshire club lay their EFL foundations.
