PRIVILEGED RORY GETS SET FOR NEW CHALLENGES

VETERAN defender Rory McArdle says he is happy to be bowing out on ‘my terms’ after deciding to hang up his boots. If the 36-year-old takes the field for Harrogate against his former club Rochdale tomorrow, it will be the 650th club appearance of his career. The Northern Ireland international started out with Sheffield Wednesday and has since served Dale, Aberdeen, Bradford, Scunthorpe, Exeter and, now, Harrogate with distinction.
