Team effort pays off for Kompany

Burnley's Vincent Kompany, Barnsley’s Michael Duff and Stockport’s Dave Challinor are celebrating scooping the Sky Bet EFL Manager of the Month awards.
Clarets boss Kompany bagged the Championship accolade for December after his league leaders won four from four, scoring ten goals in the process. The former Manchester City skipper said: “I’m delighted to win this award again, having been nominated with some fantastic managers in this league. It was a busy period for us over Christmas but everyone played their part and it paid off.”
