ACE OATES ‘BUZZING’ TO SIGN NEW CONTRACT

MANSFIELD Town striker Rhys Oates has thanked the club for putting their faith in him with a contract extension while he is out injured.
The 27-year-old was the Stags’ leading goalscorer last season, netting 12 times as Nigel Clough’s men reached the League Two playoff final.
Oates’ game-time this term has been limited due to a pectoral injury sustained against AFC Wimbledon in mid-August. The former Hartlepool man is continuing his rehabilitation and could return to action towards the end of...
